We are looking for an experienced Captain to join the permanent or rotational crew of a new superyacht scheduled for completion in early July. The yacht will be crewed year-round.
The Captain will be responsible for the safe navigation and operation of the yacht, organising its daily activities, and coordinating operational matters. In addition to strong maritime and technical competence, the successful candidate must be comfortable interacting with guests and representing the yacht and its crew in a professional and courteous manner.
Candidate requirements:
- a valid Captain’s or Deck Officer’s certificate or Yacht's Captain certificate
- extensive seagoing experience;
- previous experience commanding a larger motor or sailing yacht;
- excellent command of English;
- strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- willingness and ability to interact professionally with guests;
- a responsible, organised, and independent approach to work.
